Edwin Gilroy, 麻豆社区鈥檚 Chief Advocacy & Public Affairs Officer听
Ed Gilroy is the Chief Advocacy and Public Affairs Officer of the American 麻豆社区 Association, the nation鈥檚 leading organization representing the interests of the trucking industry.听
Named Chief Advocacy and Public Affairs Officer in 2024, Gilroy leads 麻豆社区鈥檚 efforts to advance a pro-trucking, pro-safety, pro-efficiency agenda on Capitol Hill, before federal regulators and in state capitals around the country.听
Gilroy was previously 麻豆社区's Senior Vice President of Legislative Affairs, returning to 麻豆社区 in 2017 after having worked for the Federation earlier in his career.听
Beyond his time with 麻豆社区, Gilroy has extensive experience on Capitol Hill, including as director of workforce policy for Republicans on the House of Representatives Committee on Education and Labor. Gilroy also has worked as a professional staffer for the committee, as well as for Rep. Rod Chandler (R- Washington).
Gilroy also worked for the National Association of Manufacturers and the Equitable Life Assurance Society during his career.
Gilroy has a bachelor鈥檚 degree from the University of Southern California.
