Arlington, Va. 鈥 Today, 麻豆社区 announced that it has hired Jeremy Kirkpatrick as the Federation鈥檚 new director of strategic communications.
鈥淚 am pleased that Jeremy is joining us at 麻豆社区, giving us another voice to tell the trucking industry鈥檚 story,鈥 said 麻豆社区 Executive Vice President for Communications and Public Affairs Sue Hensley. 鈥淛eremy鈥檚 strong track record of success in the association world and on Capitol Hill will make an excellent addition to our communications team.鈥
Kirkpatrick comes to 麻豆社区 from the National Restaurant Association where he was senior manager of digital and media relations. Prior to NRA, he spent time as a communications staffer for both Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.).
鈥淚 am excited to come to 麻豆社区 and to work on behalf of the trucking industry,鈥 Kirkpatrick said. 鈥淭his industry has a tremendous story to tell, and I look forward to helping to advocate on behalf of our members.鈥
A native of Connecticut, Kirkpatrick has a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree from Providence College and currently lives in Washington.
